Roberta Imogene Crittenden
Graveside services for Roberta Jean Crittenden, 79 will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee, OK, with Bill Hunter and Mike Griffin officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Griffin, Brian Hunter, Robert Coffman, Joey Matthews, Jody Powell, and Chuck Parson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Hunter and Dale Hunter. Services are under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Muskogee.
Jean was born September 28, 1936 at Haskell, OK, the daughter of Marion Hunter and Marie (Rogers) Hunter. In 1958 Jean married Robert “Bob” Crittenden who preceded her in death in 2003. Jean was a wonderful caregiver to Bob, a loving mother and grandmother, as well as a tremendous support to her siblings. She was a seamstress and member of the Eastern Star and Riverside Christian Church, who enjoyed reading. Jean retired after 30 years of serving as the executive secretary for Manhattan Construction.
Survivors include her children, Dannye Kersten of Lake Charles, LA and Bonnie Griffin and husband, Mike, of Weleetka, OK; grandchildren, Robert Coffman of Cumming, GA, Samantha Guillet of Lake Charles, LA, Christina Griffin and McKayla Griffin of Weleetka, OK; great grandchildren, Ana Guillett, Erica Guillett, and John Guillett; siblings, Bill Hunter and wife, Carolyn, of Muskogee, Dale Hunter of Muskogee, Jennie Parson and husband, Hoy, of Muskogee, and Patsy Powell of Muskogee.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, brothers; Ross Hunter and Tommy Hunter, and great grandchild; Shannon Rye.
