Patricia Jo Lively
“Pat” Lively, 68, of Fort Gibson, OK, died Friday, November 11, 2016 at her home in Fort Gibson. Pat was born in Muskogee, OK, on April 15, 1948 the fourth oldest of eight children raised by her parents, Horace E. and Anita (Lankford) Burris, both of whom preceded her in death as did one brother, Tony Burris as well as his wife, Jean; and one nephew, H. E. “Butch” Burris. Scores of relatives and friends will mourn the passing of Pat, including her children, Gary Lively and wife, Lana, Rhonda Thomas and husband, Jackson, Scott Lively, and Anita Cooper all of Muskogee; grandchildren, Tara Parrish, Ronnie McCutcheon, Rowdy Lott, Autumn McCutcheon, Caleb Cooper, and Melanie Miller; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Paris, Hunter, Gunner, Braylon, and Kaison; brother and sisters, Emmett Burris and wife, Ann, James Burris and wife, Jackie, all of Muskogee, Betty Igert and husband, Fred, of Wainwright, Billie Thompson and husband, Robert, David Burris and wife, Cathy, all of Muskogee, Judy Ballard and husband, Stoney, of Fort Gibson; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, friends, and
acquaintants.
Pat’s outgoing nature as well as past employment at the court clerk’s office gained her many lifelong friends. Patsy will be missed by all of us.
Funeral services for Pat will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2016 in Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home Chapel in Muskogee with Scott Byrd officiating and Rowdy Lott reading the eulogy. Pallbearers will be Ronnie McCutcheon, Rowdy Lott, Christi Alexander, Caleb Cooper, Jessie Escamilla, and Dustin Hammock. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Igert, Doug Dibold, Jeff Dibold, Stoney Ballard, Clint Burris, and Richard Burris. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery in Tahlequah, OK.
A family dinner will be held at Victory Baptist Church, east of Fort Gibson, at 11:30 a.m. prior to the service.
