Jean K. Campbell
Jean Katherine Rozell Campbell of Gore, OK, passed from this life Wednesday March 1, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. She was born on July 25, 1940 in Webbers Falls, OK. to Floyd and Jewel Rozell.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Rozell; uncles and aunts, W.M. Curtis, Ilene Brown, WM Robert “Bob” Brown, Virginia Louise Brown- Barricks, Douglas Brown – Vore, Herb and Vala Brown, Frank and Vore and Lola Mae Brown, June Barron, other friends and family. We know they welcomed her at the gate.
Jean is survived by her husband, Fred Campbell, who she married on June 13, 2007; her mother, Jewell Rozell, of Gore, OK; step-children, Sheila and Sam Pratt, and Clayton Campbell; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; plus all her flock which she loved and cared for as her children.
Jean grew up in Webbers Falls as a farm girl. Upon graduating high school, she attended college to get a degree in business. She moved to Houston, TX, and had a successful career in the insurance business until the Lord called her back to Oklahoma. Jean came home and began pastoring at Round Mountain Church where she was for five years. She then took over at Living Word Fellowship which is now “Christ The King” Church for the last twenty-eight years. She served as Chairwoman for the Ministerial Alliance and Secretary of the Vian Peace Center. Jean was ordained under Bobby Hogan Ministries, Christ for the Nations out of Ft. Smith, AR. Her passion for Christ and love for His people was manifested in all she did.
Many souls have been saved, bodies have been healed by the power of Christ, and lives have been delivered throughout her 33 years of ministry. Through her leadership, her church became involved in the Vian community with various events which included “The Peace Center”, Vian Ministerial Alliance, back to school giveaways, and the after school programs.
