Timothy Thompson
Timothy David Thompson, 67, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017.
Tim was born June 12, 1950 in Delano, California to Clyde and Allene (Lawhorn) Thompson. He graduated from Arvin High School in 1968 and attended college in Bakersfield, California. In 1975 Tim met his wife, Debra (McWilliams) Thompson and enjoyed almost 42 years together.
He was employed by OG&E power plant in 1977 where he worked as a supervisor then a mechanic until he retired in June 2010 Tim loved hunting, fishing, drinking coffee, working with his hands and his family. Anyone that knew him would say he had big strong hands that could fix anything. He was the “Rock” of his family and the person everyone went to for help when they needed it. He was a “Man’s man”.
Tim was preceded in death by his father, Clyde; his mother, Allene; and his granddaughter, Aroura.
Tim is survived by his wife Debra; his son Jeff Thompson and wife Courtney. His daughter Valerie (Lawson) Boswell and husband Waylon; youngest daughter Amber (Thompson) Blair; 7 grandchildren, Crystalle Thompson, Vance Boswell, Keyle Brown, Jace Thompson, Carisa Boswell, Cade Thompson and Airabella Blair; 7 great grandchildren, Abrial, Kelton, Julian, Kinsley, Amelia, Nicholas and Kizer; oldest brother Larry and wife Cindy; younger brother Dallas and fiancé Kim; older sister Linda Graves; younger sister Diane Queen and husband Tom.
